Mobility partnership in Losenstein sets a strong example of sustainability
138 fully electric vehicles for employees
Mobility partnership in Losenstein sends a strong message of sustainability
Losenstein, October 8, 2025. WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH has taken delivery of 138 fully electric vehicles from the Volkswagen ID. series at its Losenstein location. The ID.3, ID.4, and ID.7 models will be used by employees for work-related travel and will make a significant contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions.
With this investment, the corporate group is sending a strong signal in support of sustainable mobility and modern employee engagement. The new vehicles are part of a long-term sustainability strategy that combines environmental responsibility with economic efficiency and social responsibility.
The “E-Mobility Against CO₂” initiative was launched at the Losenstein site back in 2019. At that time, around 70 employees participated in the electric vehicle leasing program. By 2025, the fleet has now been expanded to 138 vehicles—another milestone on the path to climate-friendly mobility.

Sustainability as a Corporate Goal
The vehicles can be charged at the company’s own charging stations, which are powered by electricity from the photovoltaic system. This further enhances the environmental impact of the e-mobility initiative.
“By expanding electric mobility, we are making an important contribution to a more sustainable future while simultaneously offering our employees attractive mobility solutions,” emphasize Bernhard Obermayr and Kurt Sperrer, both managing directors of WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH Losenstein.
