WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH Achieves Bronze Rating from Ecovadis

Güglingen, June 17, 2025. WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH was awarded the Bronze medal in this year’s Ecovadis assessment. This places the group among the top 35 percent of all companies evaluated on this platform. The independent assessment highlights clear progress in the areas of the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement—and confirms the group’s ongoing commitment to greater sustainability.

Compared to the previous assessment, the family-owned company with locations in Germany, Austria, and Poland was able to significantly increase its overall score. Key factors contributing to this included progress in sustainability reporting, standardized policies across the entire group, and concrete measures such as the installation of a solar power system at the Konstanz-Reichenau site and an energy-saving project in production at the Güglingen facility.

“I am very pleased with the improvement and that we have now achieved the Bronze Medal award,” says Anne Flaig, Sustainability Officer for the group.

The Ecovadis assessment is based on documented evidence of processes, guidelines, measures, and results achieved in four key areas. The Bronze award is a significant milestone and underscores WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH’s consistent path toward greater environmental and social responsibility.

“Our work toward greater sustainability does not end with the Bronze medal—on the contrary: it serves as an incentive for the next steps,” Flaig continues. The next assessment is scheduled for 2026—until then, the group plans to develop and implement further measures at all its locations.
